SSEN Electricity Planned Outages
Many of us have received letters from SSEN on their planned electricity outages which will occur at different times in different parts of the village. These are outages that last several hours so please make sure you have your mobile phones charged and alternative cooking arrangements if you are planning warm food.
The dates I have been informed of by some of our residents are as follows;
Tuesday 5th December 08.00-16.00 North end of village - Glenfinart, Village Hall
Wednesday 6th December 08.00-15.30 Bowling Club area, Swedish Houses
Thursday 7th December 09.00-15.00 South end of village
Saturday 9th December 09.00-12.00 centre of village
I don’t have any specific information for Ardenfield yet.
Unfortunately, we have been unsuccessful in our application for a defibrillator with the British Heart Foundation. This was the one intended for the beach area. We will now look into other funding mechanisms to obtain one.

Thank you everyone for supporting all the groups, events and functions.
As a thank you and to celebrate Christmas, the Hall Management Group would like to invite the village to a sing along at the Ardentinny Bistro.
There will be live music, Christmas carols and other songs.
A free buffet will be provided from 6pm and the bar will be open for you to buy drinks until closing at 11pm.
Although this is a closed function for the village for the night, any guests who may be visiting you over the festive period are very welcome to come too.
This is a chance for everyone to get together and have a good time and basically, another excuse to have a party.
